Montfort Drama Classes

Monfort College of Performing Arts aims to build confidence, communication skills, fluency of speech and the development of the imagination.

Drama classes are based on drama games, improvisation, rhythm exercises, voice work, mime, movement and general stagecraft. Students are encouraged to develop their understanding and enjoyment of acting through practical lessons, script work, improvisation and performance. The emphasis is very much on creativity, fun and enjoyment.

Students are also prepared for Feis Maitiu and LAMDA exams and also have an opportunity to participate in the annual musical and pantomime.

Whether it’s to build confidence, have fun or pursue a career in the acting industry the drama curriculum is suited to students of all ages and ability.

Also on offer are speech and drama examinations with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts for all ages and levels.
