Daily Activities at Fermoy Community Youth Centre

Fermoy Community Youth Centre and Palace Theatre has been at the heart of the Fermoy community now for almost 100 years. The centre offers a host of sporting, cultural and recreational facilities that are second to none, including a Dance Studio, Consultation & Meeting Rooms, Cinema and Racket/Handball/Squash Courts.

The centre is proud to be associated with a wide variety of clubs, practitioners and groups providing a variety of activities from singing, dancing, drama, hip hop, karate, Zumba, Irish Dancing, Mother & Toddler Group, Social Dancing, Designer Minds, Health & Wellbeing, Yoga, Camera Club, Men’s Club, Fermoy ICA, Active Retirement, Hilary’s Orpheus Choir and her Song Shop for Kids, Irish Dancing, Handball Racquetball and Squash.

Music and song have long been a tradition and part of the cultural life of Fermoy, and the Centre has played a major role in that over the years. Fermoy Community Youth Centre is self-financing and its core sources of income are from room hire, theatre hire, sports complex, membership, weekly bingo and the Community

Development Draw.  Without these the centre simply could not survive.  From time to time we receive extra funding from Cork County Council, Avondhu Blackwater Partnership, and local fundraising initiatives which have been fantastically supported by the people of Fermoy and surrounding area.

For further details on events happening in the centre or enquiries about the facilities available, see our website or ring 025 32042.
