Welcome To Our Website

Community Youth Centre External Profile PictureThe Fermoy Community Youth Centre, home of the Palace Theatre (Est. 1921), has made a major and growing contribution to the people – especially the youth and the elderly- of Fermoy and the surrounding area.

The Fermoy Community Youth Centre is extensively used by many organisations and serves as a cultural, recreational and sporting facility for the community at large.

We offer everything from Health & Fitness – Zumba, Handball & Tai Chi; to Dance and Drama Classes; from Active Retirement Groups to Youth Music Projects; from Bingo to Children’s Summer Camps and everything in between.

The Fermoy Community Youth Centre is also home to the Palace Theatre, a venue for all forms of Artistic Expression. The Palace Theatre is available for bookings for theatrical productions, conferences/public speaking engagements and cinema screenings. The Palace Theatre is used on a regular basis for Musicals, Variety Shows, Pantomimes and as a Music Venue.

The Fermoy Community Youth Centre is a registered charity and is completely self-financed. We are very grateful for the continued support of the local community without whom the Fermoy Community Youth Centre would not be able to exist.

It is envisaged that this new website will enable us to continue to effectively respond to the many and varied needs of the community as well as a portal to inform the local community of all the varied and exciting activities going on in their local community centre. Over the coming weeks, months and years this website will continue to be updated and improved for the benefit of all – watch this space!!!

We invite you to take a look around our wonderful new website and discover all that we have to offer the community and people of Fermoy and its surrounding areas. We welcome any and all feedback so please don’t hesitate to contact us directly – you can do so here.
